We have successfully completed the comprehensive coal handling project at Baroud Open Cast Mine (OCM), located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project included the mechanical loading of coal using payloaders from stock yards CS-22 and CS-23, and the transportation of coal using tippers to Korichhapar Railway Siding.
Over a span of three years (1,095 days), a total quantity of 65.70 Lakh Metric Tonnes of coal was efficiently handled, meeting the daily dispatch target of 6,000 TPD, across an average lead distance of 7–8 kilometers. The project, valued at ₹44.00 Crores, was executed with precision, ensuring smooth logistics operations, timely coal dispatches, and strengthened railway connectivity for uninterrupted supply chain movement.
