Hiring of Xcentric/equivalent vertical ripper machines/other suitable strata cutter machines to be used as primary extraction machine for blastless OB extraction on per CuM basis & Hiring of HEMMs (Shovels, Dumpers/Tippers, Dozers, Graders, Fog Canons, Surface Miners, Payloaders etc.) for Excavation, Mechanical loading & transportation of OB, dumping, spreading, dozing & other allied works at specified areas for OB dumping from Surface top to Seam II Bob and Extraction of Coal/Coal measure strata by Surface Miner, Mechanical transfer of the same into Tipping Trucks & transportation from face to different destinations along with preparation & maintenance of coal faces, haul/transportation roads, water sprinkling at working face, mine premises etc. as per the instructions of Project Officer/Management of Kaniha OCP, Kaniha Area, MCL. The Project Cost is ₹758.00 Crores.

  • Executing first of a kind coal mining project in Eastern India under Mahanadi Coalfields Limited – pioneering blastless OB extraction technology in India using ripper machines for extraction of approx 25 Million Cum of hard OB.
