RKTC Infratech Limited has been awarded a prestigious work order by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, for comprehensive mining operations at Amlai Opencast Mine (Sohagpur Area, Madhya Pradesh). The ₹393.56 crore contract, spread over 1144 days (03 September 2025 to 21 October 2028), covers excavation and removal of 42.98 million cubic meters of soil and overburden, surface miner-based coal cutting of 6.27 million tonnes, and loading and transportation of the same to stockyards and railway sidings. The project includes strict compliance with mine safety, worker welfare (₹15 lakh accident insurance), and environmental norms such as GPS-enabled covered vehicles, mandatory use of 20% eco-friendly trucks, and biological reclamation of land.
