The contract is valued at ₹52+ crore and will run for 10 months, including mobilization time. RKTC will also provide warranty support for 12 months after completion. Strict compliance with Vedanta’s safety, statutory, environmental, and HR standards is mandatory.

Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) has awarded R.K. Transport & Constructions Ltd. a comprehensive civil works contract for the construction and revamping of RCC and brickwork drainage systems across its Carbon Plant, including the Green Anode Plant, Rodding Shop, and Bake Oven facilities. The scope of work covers the development of new chute drains, RCC Hume pipe laying, brick masonry boundary walls, civil structures such as sheds and portacabins, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of existing drains.

Valued at over ₹40 crore, this six-month project is designed to strengthen BALCO’s infrastructure by ensuring robust drainage, environmental safety, and smoother plant operations. With a dedicated workforce, stringent adherence to Vedanta’s Zero Accident safety standards, and a two-year performance guarantee, the project emphasizes both quality execution and long-term reliability.

R.K. Transport & Constructions Ltd. has been entrusted by Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd. (BALCO) for the design and development of a state-of-the-art coal yard at its CPP-III facility in Korba, Chhattisgarh.

This large-scale infrastructure project includes surveying, civil construction, road and pavement works, RCC structures, drainage networks, utility facilities, and support infrastructure such as sheds, porta cabins, and safety systems. With a strong focus on operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety, the project is a vital step in strengthening BALCO’s energy infrastructure.

Valued at over ₹162 crore, the coal yard development is scheduled for completion by January 2026, ensuring enhanced capacity and reliability for BALCO’s power plant operations.
